Welcome to Litesearch ("Website", "Platform", "We", "Us", "Our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") in conjunction with our Privacy Policy govern your use of our services. By registering for or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.
Definitions
Candidate: ("Professional", "Finance Professional"): An individual who registers on the Website to seek employment opportunities.
Company: ("Employer", "Business"): An entity that subscribes to the Platform to access candidate information for recruitment purposes.
Subscription: A paid membership plan for Companies to access certain features or data.
User: Any individual or organisation using the Website (Candidates and Companies collectively).

1. Introduction
Litesearch is a subscription-based platform designed to connect businesses with finance professionals. By using our services, you accept these terms in full. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use our platform.
Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Website.
- Companies must be legally incorporated or operating businesses in the UK or permitted jurisdictions.
2. Subscriptions (Companies Only)
- Billing: Litesearch operates on a subscription basis. Billing will be monthly or annual based on the selected subscription type.
- All prices are in GBP (£).
- Payment is taken via our secure third-party payment processor. If You wish to place an Order for Goods available on the Website, You may be asked to supply certain information relevant to Your Order including, without limitation, Your name, Your email, Your phone number, Your credit card number, the expiration date of Your credit card, Your billing address, and Your shipping information.
- You represent and warrant that: (i) You have the legal right to use any credit or debit card(s) or other payment method(s) in connection with any Order; and that (ii) the information You supply to us is true, correct and complete.
- By submitting such information, You grant us the right to provide the information to payment processing third parties for purposes of facilitating the completion of Your Order.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the billing period. We may, at our discretion, refuse to renew your subscription at the end of the initial, or any subsequent, term.
- Annual subscriptions: By purchasing this subscription, you are entering into a fixed 12-month contract (the "Term"). You agree to pay for the full Term regardless of whether you choose to use the service for the entire period. Payment will be collected annually in advance via your selected payment method.
- Companies can manage or cancel their subscription via their account settings.
- Each subscription shall be restricted to use by a single, designated email account only.
- Pricing Changes: We reserve the right to adjust pricing with prior notice.
- Complimentary services Litesearch may, upon request, provide advice or support to companies on a complimentary basis. These Complimentary Services are not part of the subscription service and are offered solely as a goodwill gesture. They do not create any legal or contractual right to receive such services now or in the future. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Litesearch accepts no liability for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from the provision, withdrawal, or unavailability of any Complimentary Services.
3. Free Trial for Employers
- We may offer a Free Trial to new Employers, allowing access to our services for a limited period.
- During the Free Trial, Employers may use the platform with limited or full access depending on the offer.
- Employers will not be charged during the Free Trial. At the end of the trial, the account will require a paid Subscription to continue access.
- Only one Free Trial is permitted per company or account. Abuse or circumvention may result in termination.
3. Acceptable Use
- Candidates may create a profile, upload CVs, and communicate with Employers and Litesearch.
- Candidates agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
- We do not guarantee job placement or interviews.
- We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to accept or reject a candidate's registration to use our Website.
- Companies may subscribe to a plan to gain access to candidate information and contact them directly.
- When the product is used as intended, interactions on the Website occur between Candidates and Employers. You acknowledge that Litesearch is not a party to any transaction that may take place between a Candidate and an Employer.
- Litesearch has the right to suspend or terminate any Account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Website at any time and for any reason.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information.
Users agree not to:
- Use the Website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
- Harass, defame, threaten, or abuse any other users.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform.
- Use automated means to access data (e.g. scraping bots).
4. Data Protection and Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Litesearch, you consent to our data practices.
- Companies agree to use candidate data solely for recruitment purposes and in compliance with all applicable data protection laws.
- Misuse or resale of candidate data will result in membership termination and potential legal action.
- You may receive messages, emails or email notifications corresponding with your activity on or use of the Website. In all cases, such messages or notifications are provided solely as a courtesy. Litesearch disclaims all warranties with regards to the transmission or storage of such courtesy notices, does not guarantee their delivery or receipt, and does not guarantee the date or time at which they may be sent.
- As an Employer, you agree to keep confidential all information gained from Candidates through use of our Website (including but not limited to names, identities or personal information of any Candidates), together with all other information which is of a private, proprietary or confidential nature.
- When you view, send, store or receive information (including CVs and messages) through or using the Website, Litesearch may, for example, use such information for its internal business purposes including but not limited to data analysis, quality control, or to refine the Website or any other product or service (including to provide better search results and other listings for Candidates and Employers), whether via automated means or otherwise.
5. Intellectual Property
- All content on the Website (excluding user-uploaded content) is owned by or licensed to Litesearch UK Limited.
- Users may not copy, modify, or distribute Platform content without written permission.
- All content on Website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Litesearch or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any content without our written consent.
6. Limitation of Liability
- We are not liable for any employment decisions made by Companies or Candidates.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of user-submitted information.
- The Litesearch service is provided without any warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our platform.
- We may update and change our Website from time to time to reflect changes to our products, our users' needs and our business priorities. We do not guarantee that our Website, will always be available uninterrupted or error free and we reserve the right to withdraw, suspend or amend the services or functionality that we provide on the Website without notice for business and operational reasons. We will try to give you reasonable notice of any suspension or withdrawal. We will not be liable if for any reason the Website is unavailable at any time or for any period.
- We do not guarantee that our Website will be secure or free from bugs or viruses. You are responsible for configuring your information technology, computer programmes, and platform to access our Website. You should use your own virus protection software.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Litesearch at our discretion, without notice, if you violate these terms.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or account notifications. Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
